100 Fildzana

One of my earlier blogs was an artistic experiment with a nationwide group that set out to create one thing (art in words, pictures, film etc) a day for 100 days. The result for me was 100 Fildzana which means one hundred cups in the Bosnian language. Here are a few excerpts of symbols remained as images in turned over cups of thick Bosnian (akaTurkish) coffee compared to similar formations in painting, sculpture or word - showing the universal, synchronistic way symbols appear for us. Associations like these often guide or remind us, to look closer at what is in front of us and at the same time, prompts us at the same time to look at the whole and feel - experience - the connection we share with everything and everyone around us.
